We had a small extension to the front of our house to accommodate a toilet, and a new front wall.
We received our estimate a short time into the coronavirus pandemic and work was completed towards the end of the year. Work took almost exactly the time originally estimated and, other than some pandemic related increases came in at the estimated cost.
We were delighted with the result. Mark clearly takes a pride in his work and would go out of his way to make sure that the best possible results were achieved.
It is striking just how many neighbours and passers-by have commented on the quality of the work and how good they felt 'the builder' was.
It is also worth recording that Mark and his apprentice were lovely people to have around for ten weeks.
We would be very happy to have WAS do future work for us, and to recommend them to others.

Mark and Tyler have recently finished the removal of a load bearing wall to make an open plan kitchen and diner.
The quote was detailed and we were kept in the loop with start date and requirements for progression. Mark was very thorough with measurements for the RSJ and prior to the works starting made a full floor to ceiling 'screen' to ensure mess could be kept to a minimum. At the end of each day they cleaned up to a very good standard, considering our home.
The works were completed to an excellent finish

We used WAS Building services when we purchased a house that was very near derilict. Not only did they restore, renovate and modernise the original house for us, but we also had them build on the back a massive modern extension. They did an amazing job, the quality of the workmanship is second to none, we are so pleased with the result. Excellent service provided by this company who undertook work at my property. The work completed was of a high standard and Mark understood clearly the end result I was looking for to ensure that the work was in keeping with my property. Whilst on site, my protective sheeting was used to minimise dust and my house was left in a clean and tidy way once work was completed.
